Parent & Child County Fourball Championship

ELIGIBILITY

Entries are now open for the Claregolf, Parent & Child, or Grandparent & Grandchild, County Championships. This is the second major tournament on the Claregof 2022 for teams of two where both players have an active world handicap index and one player must be a member of a Clare club.

Senior Division: Son or Daughter, Grandson or Granddaughter who are 19 or older as of 1st January 2022. Both players must have an active World Handicap Index. There are two categories in this section Gross winner and Nett winner.

Junior Division: Son or Daughter, Grandson or Granddaughter who have reached their 14th birthday and will not reach their 19th birthday by January 1st, 2022. Both players must have an active World Handicap Index. There are two categories in this section Gross winner and Nett winner.

Format:  

18 holes. Teams of two. One-tenth of the combined handicap. Choose your team’s best drive and then play your own ball from there to the hole. A parent or grandparent may only play with one Son /grandson or Daughter/granddaughter. One of the two players must be a member of a Clare club.
