For the last fifteen years Claregolf, a not-for-profit entity, has been to the forefront in promoting junior golf here in Co Clare through the organisation and staging of county based interclub and individual competitions. During that time, more than a thousand junior golfers have taken part in the different competitions where they have grown in confidence and ability prior to taking part in the national girls’ and boys’ competitions, representing their clubs in both junior and adult all Ireland inter club competitions, and for some the honour of being selected to play for their province and country. How very proud we are of all the junior golfers in our county who one day will be future adult members and office holders within their club.

This year we are delighted to announce the introduction are new Clare junior Golf pathway  Level one two and three which can be found on your personal dashboard on the newly update county golf website  Claregolf.ie. 

This pathway asks the junior golfer under the guidance of the club appointed PGA coach and junior committee members to complete and input the following.

• Practice rounds score on age-appropriate courses.
• Skills challenge scores.
• Complete the rules quiz.

Also on your dashboard you will find golf instruction booklet and instruction videos from PGA members .

Junior members of Claregolf will aslo have the oppourtuinty to play in the county golf championships.

• U13 Short Course Series.
• Clare League. (Clare Club members only)
• County Matchplay (Clare Club members only)
• County Parkland Championships U14 U16 and U18.
